Animal Rescue Initiative:

Introduction

Our animal rescue initiative is a heartfelt and dedicated two-person operation, focused on saving animals from high-kill shelters in Puerto Rico, New York, and New Jersey. Beyond these regions, we also assist animals in dire situations wherever the need is greatest. Passionate about animal welfare for our entire lives, we are committed to giving vulnerable animals a second chance at life.

Every day, we dedicate our time, energy, and resources to saving these beautiful sentient beings, many of whom have faced unimaginable hardships. Our mission extends beyond rescue—we aim to inspire a cultural shift in how society views and values animals. By fostering compassion and understanding, we believe we can empower individuals to form meaningful connections with animals, creating a more humane world.

Current Operations

Primary Focus Areas:

1. Rescue Efforts: We prioritize saving animals from high-kill shelters in Puerto Rico, New York, and New Jersey. Additionally, we collaborate with foster care providers and independent rescuers to maximize our impact and reach.
2. Daily Involvement: Rescue work is a full-time commitment for us. Our hands-on efforts include transporting animals, arranging medical care, and finding them loving homes.
3. Collaboration: We work closely with shelters, foster families, and other rescuers to ensure no animal is left behind.

For more than a decade, we’ve worked alongside PETCO LOVE and PETSMART CHARITIES, whose grants, along with our substantial personal contributions, have helped fund our mission. By carefully stretching every dollar, we maximize our impact, but we need your help. Support from individuals, sponsors, and organizations is crucial to expanding our efforts and keeping our mission alive.
